BROCKWAY, Pa. – Sheffield volleyball continued its strong start to the season by winning the Brockway Tournament on Saturday.
The Wolverines earned the top seed in their pool after earning a split with Cameron County (25-15, 22-25) and Brookville (22-25, 25-21), and defeating DuBois Central Catholic (25-11, 25-23).
Sheffield topped Union (25-7) in the quarterfinals, then defeated Brockway (25-16) in the semifinals, before sweeping Port Allegany (25-16, 25-19) to claim the tournament championship.
