WARREN, Pa. – Warren General Hospital nurses and healthcare workers will hold an informational picket and rally outside the hospital on Friday, Oct. 15 to bring attention to staffing issues.
Warren General Hospital Professional Employees Association members will picket from 6 – 8 a.m.; 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.; and 4 – 6 p.m. with a rally and speeches beginning at 5 p.m.
The picket is intended “to alert their community to the conditions inside the hospital and to implore management to prioritize patient safety and take immediate action to safely staff the hospital,” according to a release from the association.
