STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Warren County beginning at 2 a.m. Sunday.

The advisory runs until 10 a.m. Sunday. Mixed precipitation changing to freezing rain is expected, with less than an inch of snow accumulation and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch.

The mixed precipitation is expected to change to rain showers shortly after daybreak “along and to the west of Route 219,” according to the advisory.

“The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on driving conditions as winter weather impacts Pennsylvania roadways,” the advisory said.
