Warren Tire Center Winter Storm Watch Issued for Warren, McKean Counties

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Warren and McKean Counties beginning at 1 a.m. Thursday.

The watch continues through 10 a.m. Friday. Heavy mixed precipitation is possible. Total snow and sleet accumulations of seven to 10 inches and ice accumulations of around 1/10 inch are possible as well.

“A wintry mix is likely from late Wednesday night through Thursday evening before changing to snow Thursday night,” the NWS said.

The National Weather Service warns that travel could be very difficult and the hazardous conditions are likely to impact the Thursday morning and evening, and Friday morning commutes.
