Warren Girls Major All-Stars Bow Out Against St. Marys

NORTH WARREN, Pa. – It was tough sledding for the Warren Girls Majors All-Stars, as their tournament came to a close with a 14-0 loss to St. Marys in four innings in a loser’s bracket contest.

Lanie Weisner tossed four no-hit innings for St. Marys, which also scored nine runs in the first inning en route to the win.

Alyssa Goss drew a walk and Khole Morse reached on an error for Warren.

Anna Geci was 2-for-2 with a triple for St. Marys, while Weisner had a two-run triple and Addie O’Dell was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs.

Wymer pitched the second and third innings for Warren, striking out four.

St. Marys moves on to play Brookville, a 17-15 winner over Smethport/Mt. Jewett.
