SHARON, Pa. – Warren and Eisenhower learned where and when they will play Friday as District 10 released the sites and times for its boys’ basketball championship and consolation games.
No. 3 Warren will face No. 5 Hickory for the Class 4A title at PennWest Edinboro’s McComb Field House with tip-time scheduled for 8:30 p.m. The 4A title game will follow the Class 3A championship between No. 1 Franklin and No. 2 Girard set for a 6 p.m. tip.
No. 2 Eisenhower will play No. 1 Mercer with a trip to the PIAA Tournament on the line in the Class 2A consolation game at 6 p.m. at Mercyhurst University. The 2A championship game between No. 4 Cambridge Springs and No. 6 Iroquois will follow.
The Class 1A championship between top-seeded Farrell and No. 2 Rocky Grove will be at Slippery Rock University’s Morrow Field House at 7:30 p.m.
The Class 3A consolation game will see No. 4 Mercyhurst Prep take on No. 6 Fairview at 7:30 p.m. at the Hagerty Family Events Center. The Class 4A consolation between No. 1 Sharon and No. 2 Grove City will tip at 6 p.m. at SRU.
The Class 5A subregional will tip at 6 p.m. at the Hagerty Family Events Center and will feature D10 champion Cathedral Prep against D8 champion Obama Academy.
