SHARON, Pa. – Warren County teams learned their playoff seeds and, for most, their first opponent as District 10 released its 2024 basketball playoff brackets on Sunday, Feb. 18.
On the boys’ side, Eisenhower earned the No. 2 seed in Class 2A, Warren is the No. 3 seed in Class 4A, and Youngsville is the Class 1A No. 4 seed.
Youngsville’s girls earned the top seed in Class 1A, while Warren is the No. 2 seed in Class 4A, and Eisenhower is the No. 7 seed in Class 2A.
Top seeds on the boys’ side include Farrell (Class 1A), Mercer (Class 2A), Franklin (Class 3A), Sharon (Class 4A), Cathedral Prep (Class 5A), and Erie (Class 6A).
The top seeds for the girls are Kennedy Catholic (Class 2A), Mercyhurst Prep (Class 3A), Fairview (Class 4A), and Erie (Class 6A).
Boys’ games tipoff on Thursday, Feb. 22 with Warren taking on Corry in the Class 4A quarterfinals at Meadville at 7:30 p.m.
Eisenhower will square off with No. 7 Sharpsville in the Class 2A quarterfinals on Friday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. in Oil City.
Youngsville takes on top-seeded Farrell in the Class 1A semifinals on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at a time and location to be announced.
For the girls, the Eagles earned a bye in the semifinals and will face the winner of Rocky Grove and Jamestown for the D10 Class 1A title on Saturday, March 2 at a time and location to be announced.
In Class 2A girls, Eisenhower will take on No. 2 seed Maplewood in the quarterfinals on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. in Meadville.
Warren will face No. 7 General McLane in the Class 4A girls’ quarterfinals on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 2:30 p.m. at Mercyhurst University.
