State Police Investigating Deceased Dog Found in Garbage Bag

WARREN, Pa. – Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after troopers found a deceased dog in a garbage bag on Monday evening.

Troopers from PSP-Warren responded to a report of a deceased animal in the area of Liberty Street and Stone Hill Road just before 7:15 p.m. On arrival, troopers found a deceased yellow Labrador in the bag “with an apparent bullet wound to its head,” police said.

Police said the Labrador was wearing a green cloth collar with a dog-bone-shaped buckle.
