WARREN, Pa. – Nine Warren Area High School soccer players and three coaches were selected to represent Pennsylvania in the 2023 NY/PA Corporate Cup Soccer Showcase on July 23.
The showcase pits players from northwestern Pennsylvania and southwestern New York against each other in a 4-match format (Boys’ Gold, Girls’ Gold, Boys’ Silver, Girls’ Silver) at Allegheny-Limestone High School in Allegany, New York.
On the Boys’ Gold team are Will Nebinski, Corban Reinard, and Jack Darling. Chris Darling will serve as head coach, while new WAHS head coach Steffan Blair will assist.
Lily Stanley, Eliza Brook, and Leyna and Meea Irwin will play for the Girls’ Gold Team, which will have Jeremy Bickling as an assistant coach.
Quentin Norris is the lone Warren representative on the Boys’ Silver Team, and Lucy Bigelow will play on the Girls’ Silver Team.
