YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Cole Cressley was nearly perfect in Youngsville City League play at Valley Bowling Center.
Cressley set a career-high game with a 297 in the second game of his 714 series. He missed bowling a perfect game on the final ball. He put the 297 between a 203 and a 214 for the high series.
CJ Jones was just one pin behind Cressley with a 713 series. Jones started with a 200, followed with a 213 and finished with a 276 for the series. Alex Johnson also hit the 700 mark, exactly 700 for his series. Johnson had a 213 to start, followed with a 232 and finished with a 255 to reach 700.
Youngsville third-grader Ava Young bowled a career-high 93 during Saturday Strikers League action. Jakobe Anthony led the league this week with a 498 series.
Ben Berdine had the top score in Warren Area High School league play with a 403. Elle Irwin narrowly missed on a 400 series of her own, finishing with a 399.
