“We did move from the Key Bank building over here,” Business Development Coordinator Jennifer Bliss said.
Following the ribbon cutting, Bliss led a tour of the new facility.
Bliss said the new location will allow Senior Helpers to enhance its “Center of Excellence.”
“We have it set up like an apartment,” Bliss said. “We have a living room, bedroom . . . a kitchen and dining room. We do various trainings in here.”
The organization recently finished renovating the downstairs area which will allow them to hold caregiver trainings or events. It also houses a learning library that caregivers have access to.
“We found that a lot of our caregivers wanted continuing education, they wanted personal enrichment,” Bliss said.
According to its website, Senior Helpers’ goal “is to help provide a high quality of life for our clients and their families, by delivering customized, dependable and affordable care.”
