Rotary Club of Warren Bringing Back Duck Derby

WARREN, Pa. – The duck derby is back. 

On June 26 the Rotary Club of Warren will be hosting its second annual Duck Derby with the Chief Cornplanter Council Boy Scouts.

There will be over 2,000 rubber ducks on the Allegheny River, at Breeze Point Park. The Rotary Club is asking the community of Warren to purchase tickets for the Duck Derby to benefit:

*Boy Scouts

*Scholarships

*Leadership Camp of Students

*Lacy Park Multi-Sensory All-Inclusive Playground

The race will be accompanied by an event full of fun for the whole family. There will be face painting, food trucks, music and games from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., with the derby at 3 p.m. The first four ducks to cross the finish line will receive a prize.

  • 1st Prize: is an Old Town Vapor 10ft Kayak from Allegheny Outfitters valued at over $600
  • 2nd Prize: is Gift Certificate to Bent Run Brewing valued at over $100
  • 3rd Prize: is a one month indoor climbing at The Goat Fort valued at over $55
  • 4th Prize: is Gift Certificate to Penn Wilds valued at over $50

Ducks can be adopted for $5, six ducks for $25 and a flock of twenty-five ducks for $100.
