February 2, 2023

WARREN, Pa. – A preliminary hearing scheduled Wednesday (Feb. 1) for a Youngsville woman charged with drug delivery resulting in death has been continued.

Stephanie Kightlinger remains in the Warren County Jail after failing to post $125,000 bail on charges that also include five counts of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility and one count of Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver.

Defense counsel requested the continuance of the preliminary hearing, with online court records not yet indicating when the hearing will be rescheduled.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, officers were dispatched to a residence on Pennsylvania Ave. W for a report of cardiac arrest on Dec. 18. Upon arrival, officers and emergency medical technicians observed a male lying on his back deceased.

“After the male’s passing, officers were notified that circular blue pills were found,” the affidavit said. “The pills had an “M” imprint on them.”

Per the affidavit, officers spoke to multiple individuals, who advised that Stephanie Kightlinger purchased and delivered the pills to the deceased male.

The name of the victim has not been released and is not indicated in court documents.

This is the second case of its kind in Warren County since December. Christian Papalia was charged on Dec. 9 with drug delivery resulting in death.
