Post 135 Senior Legion Takes Pair of Games From Corry

CORRY, Pa. – Post 135 Senior Legion swept a doubleheader from Corry on Thursday, winning 4-2 in Game 1 and 4-3 in Game 2.

In Game 1, Post scored a pair of runs in the top of the ninth inning to secure the win. Konnor Hoffman belted a home run as well as a double, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs, a walk, and a run. Also offensively for Post 135, Owen Blum and Keegan Messel drove in runs and James Johnson and Carson Farr had doubles.

Hoffman’s big game also included a seven-inning effort on the mound, allowing zero runs on three hits, walking two, and striking out seven. Nathan Lucks pitched two innings, allowing two runs.

The second game saw Aidan Zdarko went three hitless innings on the mound, striking out five and walking two, while Johnson allowed three runs (two earned) in two innings, walking four and striking out two.

Hoffman once again had two RBIs in the second game, while Johnson was 1-for-3 with a run, Owen Blum 2-for-2 and Zdarko 1-for-2 with a run.
