Pair of Firsts Among the 32 Warren County Medalists at Fort LeBoeuf Invite

WATERFORD, Pa. – Warren’s Sam Lindell and Youngsville’s Ethan Beers highlighted a strong showing from Warren County at the Fort LeBoeuf Invitational on Saturday.

Lindell (3200) and Beers (triple jump) took first place in their respective events. Beers also finished third in the high jump and long jump.

Warren County brought home 32 total medals, with at least two medals for each of the county’s four high schools.

In the girls’ team standings, Warren finished 4th, Eisenhower 11th, and Sheffield 16th. On the boys’ side, Youngsville was 12th, Warren 15th, and Eisenhower 17th.

Lindsay Madigan (100, triple jump, javelin), Lilly Newton (200, 400, high jump), Morgan Alexander (1600, 3200), Adison Cullers (100 hurdles, 300 hurdles), and Kylie Fehlman (shot put, javelin) were all multiple-medalists for the Dragons. Brynn Norris (800), Bella Campbell (800), Riley Evan (3200), Laney Gatto (pole vault), and the 400 relay team all earned top-8 finishes as well.

Laney Belcher (400), Emily Grosch (800), Rosalie Rondeau (long jump, triple jump), Marissa Gourley (100 hurdles), the 400 relay team, the 1600 relay team, and the 3200 relay team all medaled for the Knights. Sheffield’s Emily Foster (high jump) and Emma Roell (discus) medaled as well.

Eisenhower’s Joseph Mistretta (400), Bryceton Wilkins (high jump), Casey Seymour (high jump), and Warren’s Quinn Norris (800, 1600) medaled on the boys’ side.
