Number of Exciting Children’s Programs Upcoming at the Warren Public Library

WARREN, Pa. The Warren Public Library has been celebrating its 150th anniversary, but they have plenty of other exciting events going on as well.

Below is a list and description of upcoming children’s events the library is offering.

  • Toddler Time: Mondays,10:30 am, Children’s Department. Ages 1-5. Join Ms. Susan for stories, songs, crafts and creative play.
  • Turkey Talk: Saturday, November 4, 11:00 am, Slater Room. Children and families will learn about and visit with heritage turkeys from Mike Morton’s Sundance Kids Farm. First Ms. Susan will read a story book about turkeys. Mike will then share knowledge about turkeys. Afterwards children can visit and talk turkey with Mike’s turkeys. Registration appreciated but not mandatory.
  • Dear Oh Deer DIY Workshop: Saturday, December 2, 11:30 am, Children’s Department. This DIY program will start with a few holiday stories and end with each child stuffing their own adorable plush reindeer. Registration required. Registration form will be available in the Children’s Department starting Tuesday, November 14.
  • Happy Holidays with Santa and Mrs. Claus: Saturday, December 9, 11:30 am, Slater Room. Join us for a jolly time as Santa and Mrs. Claus share holiday stories and songs. Afterwards children can visit with Santa while others color holiday crafts.Preregistration required. Registration form will be available in Children’s Department starting Friday, November 17.
  • After School with Mrs. Claus: Monday, December 11, 4:30 pm, Children’s Department. Mrs. Claus loves books and children so she makes time to visit Warren to share holiday stories, songs, and crafts. Registration appreciated but not mandatory. Registration form will be available in the Children’s Department starting Tuesday, November 21.
