GLADE TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Glade Township recently completed its semi-annual road inspection and township supervisors came away impressed with the results.

All three supervisors gave the township road crew, lead by foreman William Pearson, rave reviews during Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting at the Glade Township Municipal Building.

“I gave it an A+ rating,” Vice Chairman Rusty Zigler said.

The supervisors were perhaps more impressed by the work of the road crew itself, than the conditions of the roads following the inspection.

“These are old school guys and they’re good at what they do,” Chairman Fred Freeman said.

“They’re outstanding,” Joe Scully added.

OTHER BUSINESS

Freeman said the budget review process will begin Wednesday.

“A lot of our budget is based on the road inspection, and we’re in great shape there,” Zigler said.

Scully made a motion that the township set trick-or-treat time for 6 – 8 p.m. Oct. 31. All three supervisors agreed, noting that trick-or-treaters should be accompanied by their parent/guardian, only go to homes with the front porch light on and follow CDC COVID-19 guidance when possible.
