Lady Dragons Take Over Sole Possession of First Place in Region 5

WARREN, Pa. – Halle Kuzminski and Alyssa Farr scored 13 points each as Warren took sole possession of first place in Region 5 with a 52-30 win over Conneaut. 

The Dragons (12-4 overall, 5-0 Region 5) led 19-15 at halftime and went on a 20-6 run in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Sammie Ruhlman was also in double figures for Warren with 12 points, while Meea Irwin added seven.

Lainie Harrington had 14 points and Morgan Poff eight for CASH (11-5, 4-1). BreAnne Dendis added six rebounds and Kaitlyn Crabb four assists and two steals.

SAEGERTOWN 60, YOUNGSVILLE 13

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Lyndzee Amory and Lindsey Greco combined for 42 points in Saegertown’s 60-13 Region 2 win over Youngsville.

Amory scored 22 points and was 6-of-6 from the charity stripe, while Greco finished with 20 points.

Layilah Drakes was also in double figures for the Panthers (9-9 overall, 5-3 Region 2) with 10 points.

Molly Helman had nine points for Youngsville (5-12, 1-7).

BROCKWAY 51, FOREST AREA 24

TIONESTA, Pa. – Rheanna Spinda had a career-high 23 points and came just a steal shy of a triple-double, as Brockway rolled to a 51-24 win over Forest Area at West Forest.

Spinda completed her double-double with 10 rebounds while adding nine steals.

Freshman Maria Buttery also had the first double-double of her career with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Sophia Schmader added eight points, six assists, and five steals for the Lady Rovers (6-13).

Tori Brown led Forest Area (7-11) with seven points with Kayle Rooke adding six points, 11 rebounds, and six blocked shots. Jayden Colvin also chipped in with six points.
