Knights Drop First Region Game of Season

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, Pa. – A 21-8 run in the third quarter helped Cambridge Springs hand Eisenhower its first Region 3 loss of the season, 67-60.

Cambridge Springs (9-5 overall, 4-2 Region 3) led 33-28 at halftime and used its run in the third to take a 54-36 lead.

Owen Riley was the catalyst for the surge for the Blue Devils, scoring 12 of his 17 points in the third.

Eisenhower tried to rally in the fourth, outscoring Cambridge Springs 24-13, but it wasn’s enough.

Parker Schmidt had a big game for the Blue Devils with 24 points, including eight in the first and nine in the fourth to help preserve the win.

Austin Hanson connected for a team-high 20 points for Eisenhower (12-3, 5-1), while Gavin Lindemuth had 10 and Derek Guiher nine.
