BRADFORD, Pa. – A strong start on Friday led the Kinzua U19 girls to a 5-1 win over a solid Bradford team for the second time this season.
With the win, Kinzua is now 3-0 on the season.
Most of the team is composed of younger U14 and U16 players with two U19 players.
Eliza Brook and Leyna Irwin both had two goals, while Clara Steinberg had one goal, and Meea Irwin had four assists. Defensively, Callan Gigliotti, Lilly Stanley, Charlotte Keeports, and Mallory Atwater locked it down while 12-year-old keeper Ryleigh Shaffer made several great saves allowing only one goal.
