Eisenhower, Youngsville Girls Fall in Region Battles

RUSSELL, Pa. – Olivia Kulyk led three Mercyhurst Prep players in double figures with 22 points in a 70-36 win over Eisenhower.

Kulyk scored 16 of her 22 points in the first half as the Lakers (12-2 overall, 7-0 Region 3) built a 41-19 halftime advantage.

Mari Nixon tallied 15 points for Mercyhurst Prep and Mia Mangini 14.

Clara Steinberg scored 28 of Eisenhower’s (7-6, 3-4) 36 points.

COCHRANTON 44, YOUNGSVILLE 26

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – A 15-3 run in the second quarter gave Cochranton a 24-11 halftime lead on its way to a 44-26 Region 2 win over Youngsville.

Eve Pfeiffer connected for 19 points for Cochranton, while Shelby McBryar and Alaina Shorts had six each.

Riley Robinault had 17 points for Youngsville.
