Eisenhower Baseball Falls to Cochranton

COCHRANTON, Pa. – Ben Field drove in a pair of runs as Cochranton beat Eisenhower, 15-5 in six innings.

Cochranton scored its 15 runs on just seven hits, taking advantage of eight Eisenhower errors and eight free passes issued by Knights’ pitching.

Walker Carroll scored four runs and was 1-for-2 with a pair of walks for the Cardinals, while Tim Deeter was 2-for-2 with two walks, an RBI and a run scored.

Isaiah Long got the complete game win, allowing five runs on nine hits, striking out six and walking three.

Camron Jakubczak had two hits and drove in a run for Eisenhower, while Cole Kellogg was 1-for-3 with a triple and an RBI and Johnny Palmieri was 3-for-4 with a run scored.

Derek Childs took the loss, allowing five runs (three earned), giving up just one hit, striking out four and walking five.
