Eck, Rex Qualify for State Bowling Tournament

ERIE – A pair of local bowlers rolled state qualifying scores during the district bowling tournament in Erie.

Konnor Eck bowls in the Youngsville Middle/Highschool league at Valley Bowling Center and is in 8th grade. He bowled against 12 other bowlers in his division and finished first at the district level to advance to the state tournament.

Steven Rex is in 5th grade at Youngsville Elementary School and bowls in the Saturday Strikers League. He too bowled against 12 other bowlers to finish second in his division.

Both boys were awarded scholarships and will be competing for additional scholarships at the state tournament.
