YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Ethan Senz scampered home on a double steal in the bottom of the eighth to send Youngsville to a 6-5 win over Maplewood.
Youngsville scored two runs in the sixth inning to tie the game at 5-5 on James Johnson’s 2-run single.
Matt DeSimone was 2-for-3 with a run for Youngsville, while Nate Lucks was 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI and Senz had a hit and scored a pair of runs.
Wyatt Dalrymple got the win in relief, going four innings and allowing one run on two hits, striking out three. He came on in relief of Johnson, who allowed four runs in four innings.
Landyn Reynolds was 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs for Maplewood, while Levi Willison was 2-for-5 with an RBI.
Ethan Peterson took the loss, allowing three runs in 2 ⅔ innings on three hits, striking out four and walking one.
