Dragons fall to state-ranked Oilers

WARREN, Pa. – The Warren Dragons simply ran into a buzzsaw on Friday night.

In their home opener, the Dragons fell to the Oilers, 61-0. The win extends Oil City’s regular season win streak to 19 games.

Cam Russell, District 10’s leading rusher, gained 222 yards on the ground and scored four touchdowns.

Russell scored on runs of 2, 63, 18 and 48. 

Brayden Crocker had a 49-yard receiving touchdown from Holden Stahl and also scored on a 2-yard run in the secone half for the Oilers, who are ranked No. 8 in Pennsylvania in Class 4A. 

Stahl threw for 116 yards. 

Landon Douvlos had 52 yards rushing and 45 passing to lead Warren.
