FAIRVIEW, Pa. – Tyler Benford rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns as Fairview scored 28 unanswered points in a 49-15 win over Warren.
Benford also scored Fairview’s first touchdown of the game on a 43-yard touchdown pass from Vinny Campoli.
Campoli, meanwhile, threw for 121 yards and two touchdowns and rushed 42 yards and two more touchdowns.
Benford scored on a 54-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, while Campoli (3 yards) and Jacob Truitt (10 yards) in the second quarter, with Campoli’s 6-yard touchdown run in the third quarter making it 35-7.
Warren’s Tommy Nyquist returned from injury and scored on a 10-yard touchdown pass from Eric Dippold in the first quarter.
Dippold, who threw for 217 yards, connected with Johnny Corbett on a 52-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter.
Benford capped his night with a 19-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
