UNION CITY, Pa. – It was a strong day for the Warren boys and girls track and field teams, with the girls beating Union City 115-35 and the boys earning a 103-45 win.

It was a balanced effort across the board for both sides.

For the girls, Shyann Rulander was a winner in the 800, 1600, and 3200, while Lindsay Madigan won the 100 and long jump, Lilly Newton the 400 and high jump, and Aurora Feaster the discus and shot put.

For the boys, it was Jeremiah Richardson sweeping the 100, 200, and 400, while Parker Shene won the long jump and triple jump and Ethan Best (110 hurdles), Corban Reinard (800), Sam Lindell (1600), and Matt Sowa (3200) all notching individual wins.

“We had a good performance on both sides today,” said Warren coach Kevin Dustin. “We had a few District qualifiers today and are exploring different events with different kids. We are looking for progress from week to week and today was a good step toward that. We are looking forward to going to the Brookville Invite this weekend.”
