OIL CITY, Pa. – Warren jumped out to a 22-11 lead over Oil City and never looked back in a 60-46 Region 6 win.
The win was the fourth-straight for the Dragons (14-7) and avenged a loss to the Oilers earlier in the season on a Cam VanWormer 3 at the buzzer.
Tommy Nyquist had eight of his team-high 17 points in the fourth quarter to help close the game out for the Dragons.
Nyquist was one of four Dragons in double figures, as Owen Becker and Braylon Barnes had 13 points each and Parks Ordiway 10 (eight in the first half).
Sayyid Donald had 17 points for Oil City, while Ethen Knox, who missed the first meeting between the teams, finished 14 and Jake Hornbeck nine.
Warren closes out the regular season with a road game at Corry on Friday before awaiting their assignment in the District 10 Class 4A playoffs.
