Conewango Creek Clean-Up Slated for Sept. 9

WARREN, Pa. – On Sept. 9, the Conewango Creek Watershed Association will hold its annual creek clean-up.

Volunteers should meet at the Beaty Middle School parking lot on Third Ave, with registration will begin at 8 a.m. Volunteers will be dispersed by 9 a.m.
and the cleanup ends at 2 p.m. Volunteers are welcome to participate in the entire event or any portion of it.

Participants should pre-register via the contact form on the Conewango Creek Watershed Association website or email at [email protected].

Please give your full name, phone number and email address, and how many people are coming. (This information will only be used to contact you in case of changes, unless you ask to put on their email list.).

The clean-up will start and end at the Beaty Middle School parking lot.

Volunteers are required to sign a waiver, check-in, and check-out at the registration site.

The event will go on, rain or shine.

desired items to bring include a hat, sunscreen, insect repellant, rain coat, warm layers, water or a refillable water bottle, and snacks as well as any medications, you may need. Gloves and plastic bags will be provided. Be prepared to get wet and muddy. Water and snacks will be provided.
