Clifford L. Etter

Clifford L. Etter, 77, of Irvine, Pa., passed away on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, at Warren General Hospital.

He was born on July 29, 1944, in Corry, Pa., a son to the late Clifford W. and Grace (Simmons) Etter.

Clifford served in the National Guard after graduating in the class of 1962 from Youngsville High School. He worked as a horse farrier and at the Market Basket for a period of time before working and retiring from the National Forge after 30 plus years.

Clifford was a member of the Youngsville American Legion, Warren Moose Club, and years ago, the Youngsville Jaycees.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending car shows, and traveling, a spirit full of love, courage, and life.

Clifford is survived by his children: Donovan Etter of Warren, and Colleen (Brian) Fitzgerald of Lottsville, Pa.; his siblings: Elizabeth (Harold) Miles of Spring Creek, Fran Steuart of Youngsville, and John (Vicki) Etter of Bradford, Pa; his grandchildren: Megan Etter, Danielle Etter, Dustin Etter, Jasmine Etter, Brady Etter, Diezel, Easton, and Kendall Fitzgerald; his great-grandchildren: Wesley, Drayden, Leo, Miyah and Kiyan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Etter.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, from 4-7 p.m., at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St., Youngsville, PA 16371. A funeral service will be held there on Friday, Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. A private burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Pittsfield.
