January 5, 2022

David Baker, born March 27, 1954, passed away on Dec. 22, 2021.

David was the firstborn of three sons to Ruth U. and Edward G. Baker in Rutland, Vt., and is survived by two immediate brothers: Paul O. Baker and Kurt E. Baker, both of Warren County, Pa., and numerous nieces and nephews.

David graduated from Youngsville High School and enlisted into the U.S. Air Force eventually being stationed in Guam thru Minot, North Dakota Air Force Base.

Returning home from the service, David made his home here in the Warren area, where his family and lifelong friends lived. David loved the land of Warren and the surrounding area, becoming an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter, and loved to explore the deep woods where he could always find adventure, seek peace or solitude throughout what life would bring.

David was a free spirit and always sought to make you laugh, thru jokes or stories. Being with friends, family, he always tried to make any life situation a lighter burden. He was proud of this land we live on, respected the history of the Warren area, was proud of the heritage from which he came.

He will be sadly missed for his intelligence, humor, and friendship. David lost his life thru complications of a series of strokes leaving him debilitated. After the restrictions of COVID were lifted within Kinzua Health Care Center where David resided, and he was able to see his two brothers. David let himself go the next day, Dec, 22, at 11:45 a.m.
