WARREN, Pa. – The team of Mary Beth Whiting and Debbie Backhus took overall honors, while Becky Campbell scored her fourth career hole-in-one during the Jackson Valley Golf Course Ladies Open Tournament on Aug. 6.
Campbell scored her hole-in-one on the 123-yard par 3 8th hole. She used a 7-iron to score the ace. Witnesses were April Tharp/Donna McDonald, and Becky’s playing partner; Lissy Johnson.

There were 26 contestants split into two flights.
The winners of the A flight were:
1st – Kristen Petrarca/Tracie Gray – 63
2nd – Margie Cerra/Patti Larson – 64
The winners of the B flight were:
1st – Taffy Honhart/Mary Posker – 63
2nd – April Tharp/Donna McDonald – 63
Runners Up for the tournament were:
Denise Pierson/Claire Pierson with a score of 60.
Overall Champions were:
Mary Beth Whiting/Debbie Backhus with a score of 60.
