Blum, Frank Top Varsity Teams for Week Ending Jan. 29

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Owen Blum led a clean sweep for Warren on the boys’ side, while Eisenhower’s Payton Frank held the top score for the girls on Valley’s Varsity Teams for the week ending Jan. 29.

Blum was the only bowler to finish the week with a 700+ score (736). He was joined on the boys’ team by Roman Sheets (683), JT Blum (661) and Bhodie Cummings (658).

Frank narrowly edged out fellow Knight Katie Bunk for the top spot, 673-672. The third and fourth spots were also decided by a single point. Warren’s Ella Card finished just ahead of fellow Dragon Ellee Irwin, 614-613.

Braddock Damore had the high series during Friday League play with a 571 on the strength of a 198 high game. Jakobe Anthony led the way in Saturday Strikers action with a 439 with a 186 high game.
