Beaty Volleyball Opens Season

WARREN, Pa. – Beaty volleyball got its season underway recently with both the 7th and 8th grade teams having five matches under their belt.

The 8th grade team sits at 3-1-1 after defeating Kane (25-13, 25-19, 25-12), Eisenhower (25-16, 25-13, 25-21), and Youngsville (25-10, 25-6), and splitting with Elk County Catholic (20-25, 25-21).

For the week, Hailey Cabisca had 21 kills, 34 aces, 6 digs; Kiera Garris had 17 aces, 19 digs; Ava Wymer had 13 kills, 3 aces, 3 digs; Grace Schwab had 9 kills, 1 block; Michaela Dolan had 16 aces, 37 assists; Tia French had 5 kills; Kelsey Johnson had 7 aces, 6 kills; and Addison Brown had 9 aces, 4 kills

The 7th grade team is now 2-3 after getting wins over Eisenhower (23-25, 25-22, 25-21), and Youngsville (25-14, 25-7) and with losses to Kane (11-25, 12-25, 25-27) and ECC 14-25, 7-25.

For the week, Joanna Bennett had 15 aces, 3 assists; Kendall Skerda had 10 aces; Alliesun Woodin had 7 aces; Khloe Morse had 3 aces, 3 kills; Lily White had 2 aces
