Beaty Volleyball Off to Hot Start

WARREN, Pa. – The Beaty 7th and 8th grade girls’ volleyball teams have gotten off to a strong start this season with a combined 13-2-1 record through the first two weeks.

The 8th grade team went 4-0-1 last week (7-0-1 for the season) with wins over Youngsville (25-16, 25-10, 25-10), Ridgway (25-10, 25-12, 25-17), DuBois (25-16, 25-11), and DuBois Central Catholic (25-9, 25-13). The Dragons split with Brookville (22-25, 25-23).

Through all five matches, Maggie Bennett had 21 kills and 17 aces, Paiden Johnson had 20 kills and 9 aces, Violet Brooker had 11 kills, Brynn Norris had 15 assists and 2 aces, Addison Ristau had 8 kills, 9 aces, and 7 digs, Brooke Sherry had 40 aces, 7 kills, and 9 digs, Malysia Sorensen had 25 aces and 18 digs, and Peyton Cabisca had 13 aces, 27 assists, and 3 kills.

The 7th grade team went 4-1 last week (6-2 for the season) with wins over Youngsville (25-6, 25-12), Ridgway (25-15, 25-19, 25-17), Brookville (25-15, 25-16), and DuBois Central Catholic (25-20, 25-14). The Dragons lost to DuBois (11-25, 14-25).

Through the five matches, Kiera Garris had 18 aces and 9 digs, Grace Schwab had 3 kills and 1 block, Michaela Dolan had 24 aces, 4 assists, and 11 digs, Brooke Barney had 16 aces, 9 kills, and 8 digs, Bella Egger had 14 aces, 9 assists, and 3 digs, Hailey Cabisca had 20 aces, 8 kills, and 2 digs, and Adelaide Keeports had 8 aces, 6 kills, and 1 block.
