Andy CloseBarbara Ann Taylor, 78, of Russell, Pa., passed away April 21, 2021 at home.
Barbara was born in Warren, Pa., on June 22, 1942 to the late John and Ann Tutmaher Bobelak. Barbara worked as a press operator for many years at Loranger International for many years before retiring.
She was a member of the Eagles Club, serving as past madam president. Barbara enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, and hosting her annual chicken BBQ. She especially enjoyed her family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her husband John L. Taylor whom she married in 1989.; three daughters, Teresa (Marvin) Mack of Warren, Patricia (Richard) Malone of Warren, Lyn Cammarn of Sandusky, Ohio.; two sons, Michael (Jackie) Mihalko of Jamestown, N.Y., Dale Mihalko and wife Thersa of Stockton, N.Y.; three sisters, Kathy Henderson of Daytona, Fl., Carol Wallace of Bradenton, FL., Debbie Yampaglia of Bradenton, Fl.; 4 brothers, John (Judy) Bobelak of Cocoa, Fl., Robert (Barb) Bobelak of Daytona, Fl., Wilbur Slack of Lander, Pa., Steve Slack of Bradenton, Fl.; twelve grandchildren, Athena (Vince), Scott (Carrie), Jacob (Jacqueline), Jessica (Tim), Angela (Christian), Jennifer (Tyler), Desirae (Emily), Mara, Ashley, Michael, Kia, and Joshua, seventeen great-grandchildren. And several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter; Laurie Tanner in 2000; two sisters, Patricia Corle and Mary Hoteling; two brothers, Daniel Slack, and an infant brother Andrew Bobelak. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 on Monday April 26, 2021, at the Peterson – Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna Ave E. Warren, Pa., A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday April 27, 2021 with The Rev. Wade Barto, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
