Dragons Look To Even Record When They Visit Corry

October 24, 2020

There will be no postseason berth for the Warren Dragons, but a winning season is still well within their reach after a 45-13 win over Titusville last week.

That goal begins on Saturday, when they travel to take on the Corry Beavers for a 3 p.m. kickoff.

James Swanson has been a force for the Dragons (2-3) this season, rushing for 511 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 267 yards and two scores receiving.

Landon Douvlos has thrown for 312 yards for the Dragons, while Micah Passmore and Alex Borger have become swiss army knives for the Dragons, contributing as rushers, passers and receivers.

Defensively, the Dragons are led by Passmore (34 tackles, 3 tackles for loss), Alan McAllister (31 tackles, 6 TFL), Gage Shaffer (30 tackles, 2 TFL), Kody Vega (24 tackles, 3 TFL, 3 sacks) and Blake Arnold (22 tackles, 4 TFL).

Landon Weis has had a big season on the ground for the Beavers (2-4), rushing for 685 yards and 9 scores, while adding 147 yards receiving.

Nathan Lesher has thrown for 579 yards, 195 of which have gone to Sam Fisher.

The Beavers are coming off a dramatic 42-34 double overtime win over North East last week.
