Warren County Residents Warned of Ballot Scam

October 24, 2020

WARREN, Pa. – Warren County residents are being warned about an individual trying to collect mail-in ballots.

In a Facebook post Monday evening, the Warren County, PA Government said the county has received “reports of an individual in the County going door-to-door stating that they are authorized to pick up people’s mail-in ballots.”

The post went on to warn residents not to give out their ballots.

“Do not, under any circumstances give your ballot to anyone other than an election worker in the election office at the Courthouse, or mail it in,” the post said.

Residents are asked to call 911 immediately if someone comes to their home and asks for their mail-in ballot.

“If this has happened to you, or you are aware of someone engaging in this activity, call 911 immediately and report it to the State Police,” the post said.
