Warren’s Beyer Named Region 3 Co-Region Swimmer of the Year; Madigan Also First-Team

It was a special season to say the last in the pool for Warren’s Katie Beyer and Katie Madigan.

The duo was honored on Friday, as the District 10 region swimming all-stars were announced as voted on by the region coaches.

Beyer, who won the state championship in the 200 freestyle, was named Co-Region Swimmer of the Year, along with Villa Maria’s Megan Maholic, who also won a state title.

Madigan cruised to a District 10 championship in diving and finished fourth at the PIAA championships. She was named the first-team Region 3 diver.
