PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Forest and Venango Counties beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, 2023.

The Advisory runs until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Lake effect snow with accumulations between 1 and 3 inches is expected. Most accumulation will be in the northern areas.

“A few snow squalls will also be possible Tuesday afternoon,” the NWS said. “This could cause a rapid deterioration in visibility, and hazardous travel conditions.”

Slippery road conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.

“Slow down and use caution while driving,” the NWS said.
