Warren Tire Center Wind Advisory Issued for Friday

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Wind Advisory for Warren, McKean and Elk Counties beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.

The advisory runs until 6 p.m. Friday. Steady Southwest wind speeds of 15 – 25 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” the advisory said. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.”

The NWS advised motorists to “use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.”
