WARREN, Pa. – Carly Beers’ RBI single in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie and lifted Warren to a big 3-2 win over McDowell.
Gracie Miller’s RBI single in the top half of the sixth for McDowell had tied the game at 2-2.
Alana Stuart had an RBI for Warren and was also dominant in the circle. Stuart allowed just four hits, walked one, and struck out 12.
Beers had also had a triple for Warren, while Lexi Hoffman and Alana Warrior had two hits apiece.
Chloe Shattuck had McDowell’s other RBI.
Madalyn Matlock took the loss, allowing two runs (one earned) in five innings on eight hits, striking out one.
