Warren, Frewsburg Earn High School Bowl Wins

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – Warren Area High School topped Randolph Central School 63-21 in a recent Media One High School Bowl match at SUNY Jamestown Community College.

In another match, Frewsburg Central School defeated Jamestown High School 87-23.

Earning Player of the Match honors were Xander Pitts of Frewsburg and Kaden Kelly-Pojar of Warren.

Kelly-Pojar, Shyann Rulander, Ashley Plank, Lydia Balas, Hailey Brush, Molly Suppa, and Ruby Alburger competed for Warren (2-0).

Randolph (0-1) team members were Zach Farren, Jonah Bailey, Sofia Bieniek, and Preston O’Dell.

Frewsburg (1-0) was represented by Pitts, Jacob Sears, Erich Thompson, Kelson Laska, Ella Fuller, Luca Torres-Carvella, and Mathias Sanfilippo.

The Jamestown team (0-1) was made up of Taydem Long, Trent Painter, Olivia Beach, Drew Suter, David Zampogna, Keziah Sheriff, and Collin Brand.

High School Bowl, in its 61st year, is produced by Media One Group in cooperation with JCC.

High School Bowl airs at 11 a.m. Saturdays on WJTN (1240 AM & 101.3 FM) and at 7 a.m. Sundays on SE-93 (93.3 FM).
