Warren Dominant in Sweep Over Hickory

WARREN, Pa. – Warren showed just how dominant it can be when firing on all cylinders in a 3-0 (25-14, 25-1, 25-16) win over Hickory.

The Dragons rattled off 18 straight points to start the second set en route to a 25-1 win.

“It was so much fun, we all did amazing,” Warren’s Kylie Fehlman, who had 11 kills and a block to earn Allegheny Grille of Foxburg Player of the Game honors, said during her Cole Orthodontic Associates postgame interview. “I think we were just really in the game and our energy was really high.”

Maddy Jones had 9 kills and 5 digs, Alexia Bowers had 8 kills and 6 digs, and Madelyn Nosel had 6 kills and 3 aces.

Summer Lucks had 18 digs and 4 assists and Lindsay Madigan ran the offense with 32 assists, and had 5 kills, 6 digs and 2 aces.

Fehlman, Lucks, and Madigan were recognized prior to the match for reaching career milestones earlier in the season.

Fehlman recorded her 150th block, Lucks got her 1,000th dig, and Madigan set her 1,000th assist.

Lilly Newton had 1 kill and 1 block, Lily Walker had 3 digs and 2 assists, Julia Getner had 2 kills and 1 block, and Malysia Sorensen had 2 aces.
