WARREN, Pa. – On the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 17, members of the Warren County Drug Task Force were conducting “Targeted Interdiction Patrols” based on reports and tips from local citizens.
During the patrol, Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Seth Wells,47 of Salamanca, N.Y. During the stop Wells had admitted to having drug paraphernalia inside of the vehicle. Conewango Township Police K9 Unit (Nic) was requested to the scene to assist.
A search of Wells revealed 26 grams of methamphetamine and $1,483 in U.S. Currency. A subsequent Search Warrant of the vehicle yielded an additional 7.9 ounces of methamphetamine, a digital scale and additional packaging material. At the time Wells has been charged with one felony count of Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, one count of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic violations and is currently incarcerated at the Warren County Prison with additional charges pending.
