September 8, 2022

SAEGERTOWN, Pa. – The Warren boys’ soccer team rolled to its first win of the season with a dominating 12-1 victory at Saegertown on Thursday.

Seven Dragons (1-2 overall, 1-1 Region 4) registered a goal in the game, with Parks Ordiway leading the attack with five goals and two assists. Finn Ordiway had a pair of goals, while Jack Darling had a goal and two assists.

“It’s nice to get a region win,” Warren assistant coach Chris Darling said. “We were able to get 29 players into the game. Our back line of Corban Reinhard, Casey Rich, Chase Sitler, and Ethan Best quickly shut down any Saegertown threats.”

Mark Lynds, Gavin Rex, Rich, and Jack Chapman each had a goal and an assist. Karson Lyon and Best each tallied an assist.

Will Nebinski, Josh Letko, and Jack Lynds all saw time in the net at keeper.

Warren continues its season-opening road trip at Harbor Creek on Saturday.
