Warren Boys Open Regular Season with Win at Titusville; North East Shuts Out Eisenhower

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – The Warren boys’ soccer team started the 2021 regular season right where it left off the 2020 campaign, with a big win.

The Dragons traveled to Titusville Tuesday and came away with an 8-1 Region 4 victory over the Rockets.

Roman Sheets had a hat trick and JT Blum chipped in a pair of goals. Corban Reinard, Jack Darling and Mark Lynds (PK) also tallied a goal.

Parks Ordiway had five assists while Lynds and Jack Darling each added a helper.

Assistant coach Chris Darling said Ricky Madril, Ethan Best and freshmen Chase Sitler and Finn Ordiway “held down the backline with solid defense.”

Titusville won the junior varsity match, 1-0.

Warren opens its home schedule Thursday with Eisenhower. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.

NORTH EAST 10, EISENHOWER 0
NORTH EAST, Pa. – Krew Ksenich scored four goals and had two assists to lead North East to a 10-0 Region 4 win over visiting Eisenhower.

Shane Keith and Kaidan Lanagan added two goals each. Michael Mcguigan and Samuel Wedzik each had a goal as well.

Mcguigan had two assists, while Wedzik, Lanagan, Troy Crosscut-Miller and Jake Cyranowski had one each.
