Update: Number Of Warren County Residents Still Without Power; Cherry Grove VFD Offering Residents Place To Stay

A storm that brought heavy wind and rain to Pennsylvania Sunday afternoon still has a number of Warren County residents without power Monday morning.

As of 4 p.m., Warren County still has 3,565 residents without power, per Penelec, the highest number in Pennsylvania, which totals 22,746 statewide due to the storm.

Cherry Grove VFD Chief Mike Barr also announced that if Cherry Grove residents need a place to stay the fire department is open.

Northwest Pennsylvania was the hardest hit portion of the state, as Venango County is still reporting 2,9396 residents without power, Crawford County 1,914 Forest County 1,962 and Erie County 1,336.

Penelec is working to restore power to all the effected areas.
