Steelers, Cowboys Earn Narrow Victories in Flag Football League

August 24, 2022

WARREN, Pa. – There was an offensive explosion in the Warren County NFL Little Legends Flag Football League on Tuesday.

A 1-point conversion proved to be the difference for the Steelers over the Titans as Triton Ringer (Steelers) and Gideon Milliman (Titans) traded touchdowns throughout the game.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys’ potent combination of Alex Haight and Seth Mocny was enough to stave off Harrison Williams’ rushing prowess in a win over the Dolphins.

Full results and recaps follow.

Triton Ringer had four touchdowns, but it was his 1-point conversion pass to Parker Blum that was the difference as the Steelers topped the Titans, 25-24.

Milliman again gave the Titans the lead, this time on a long pass from Kenton McGraw. Ringer again had the answer with a touchdown run. This time Ringer connected with Blum on the conversion to put the Steelers ahead, 13-12.

Once again, Milliman was up to the task scoring his third touchdown with a long run, and again, Ringer was there to answer with his third rushing TD of the game to give the Steelers a 19-18 advantage.

With only a few minutes left in the contest, the Titans turned to Bo Winkles who ran in the score to put the Titans up, 24-19. But Ringer and the Steelers wouldn’t be denied as his fourth rushing TD of the game gave the Steelers the 25-24 victory.
