Andy CloseSandal E. Badger Sr., 73, of Bowling Green, Ohio formally of Sheffield, PA passed away Tuesday Morning July 20, 2021.
He was born August 24, 1947 in Grove City, Pennsylvania to the late William Badger Jr. and Edna Balcko.
Sandal served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the AmVets, VFW and The American Legion. Sandal served as a member of his local Honor Guard in Sheffield, Pennsylvania.
Left behind to cherish Sandals Memory are his children Richard Badger (Cheyanne Lowman) of Garrett, Indiana, Sandal Badger Jr. (Lyndsey) of Bowling Green, Ohio and Louise Badger (John) of Garrett, Indiana, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and sisters Kay (Charles) Wolford of Slippery Rock, PA, Elaine Reed of Grove City, PA, Virginia (Ted) Stuck of Grove City, PA and Mary Ann (Fred) Hohmann of Plain Grove, PA.
Sandal’s family will welcome family and friends on Saturday July 24, 2021 1:00p.m – 3:00 p.m. at Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m at the Funeral Home with Pastor Ruth Ann Varrato officiating. Burial with full Military Honors will be held at the Brookston Cemetery.
